We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services. This includes your Hive username when you log in with Keychain, and basic usage data such as page visits, referrers, approximate location (derived from IP), device and browser type, and feature usage. We do not ask for, and do not store, your real name, postal address or payment information.

02How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve our services. Your Hive username is used to display your account data and to sign transactions through Keychain when you authorize them. Aggregated usage data helps us understand which features are valuable, debug issues, and maintain site security.

03Data Security

We never request, store, or have access to your private keys. All blockchain transactions are signed locally using Hive Keychain. We implement reasonable security measures to protect any information we do collect, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

04Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to remember your session, keep the site working, measure audience, and — on pages that show ads — serve and personalize advertising. You can disable or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time; some features of the site may stop working correctly if you do. 05Advertising and Google AdSense

Rising Star Utils uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads on some pages. Ads are never shown on the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Contact or error pages.

Our platform interacts with Hive blockchain nodes, Hive Engine nodes, Hive Keychain, Google AdSense and, potentially, analytics providers. These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle data they receive. We recommend reviewing them on each provider's website.

07Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Since we collect minimal data, most of your information exists on the public Hive blockchain and cannot be modified or deleted by us. For any request related to data we directly hold, contact privacy@risingstarutils.xyz and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
